Buprenorphine Drug Test Cups

Buprenorphine Drug Test Cups - Medical Distribution Group

Buprenorphine, abbreviated BUP, is a schedule III substance and the primary medication for the treatment of opiate addiction.   For those addicted to Heroin and Oxycodone this semi synthetic partial antagonist has shown positive results for weaning patients off opiates.

Common medical names for Buprenorphine are Cizdol, Subutex, Suboxone, Zubsolv, Bunavail.  Each drug is slightly different than the other but are all used for the treatment of opiate addiction.

For example, Suboxone is composed of buprenorphine plus an opiate antagonist known as Naloxone.  The Naloxone helps to block the effects of opiate consumption.

Street or slang terms for Buprenorphine (BUP) may include Subs, Subies, Box, Stop Signs, Sobos, Bupe.

Buprenorphine Drug Test Cups are used during the treatment phase to unsure the controlled substance is being consumed.  BUP is often abused and therefore prescription management is imperative.   The qualitative assay detects Buprenorphine at 10ng/mL and is CLIA waived.
